Join WWF-Australia as our Aurion Payroll Project Specialist and play a pivotal role in a high-impact payroll transformation project. This fixed-term opportunity is designed for an experienced payroll systems professional to step in during the critical deployment phase, working alongside a passionate project team as we approach MVP go-live.
In this role, you will take ownership of designing and delivering bespoke Aurion reports tailored to our unique operational and compliance needs, while also empowering our core payroll and project teams through targeted coaching and training to ensure a seamless transition and robust post go-live support.
As the project moves into Phase 2, you will lead the configuration, testing, and validation of the integration between Aurion Payroll and the HiBob HRIS, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver a seamless, future-ready payroll ecosystem.

About the Role
This is a fixed-term, project-based role to support the successful deployment of the Aurion Payroll system at WWF-Australia. The Aurion Payroll Project Specialist will work closely with the project delivery team to ensure the system is configured to meet organisational needs, support integration with other platforms, and enable a smooth transition from legacy systems. The role will also provide critical support during post go-live hypercare and handover phases.
Key Accountabilities (Refer to Position Description for full list of Key Accountabilities)
- Support the end-to-end configuration, testing, and validation of the Aurion Payroll and HiBob HRIS integration, collaborating with Information Technology (IT) and vendor partners to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of bespoke Aurion Payroll and HR reports to meet WWF’s operational and compliance needs, leveraging advanced Aurion system expertise.
- Provide hands-on coaching and training to the core project and payroll teams, building internal capability and ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual support post go-live, including hypercare phases.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience (Refer to Position Description for full list of Selection Criteria)
- Demonstrated experience in configuring and administering the Aurion Payroll system, including report design and system integration.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting payroll system implementations, upgrades, or transitions.
