About the Role
The Community Fundraising Coordinator builds quality relationships and delivers a positive, personalised and engaging experience for peer-to-peer fundraisers. This role helps develop, implement and coordinate activities across peer-to-peer fundraising, including signature campaigns, third-party fundraising, livestreaming, community and partner events. This position collaboratively supports the acquisition, retention, and ongoing engagement of community supporters; with the aim of growing revenue and increasing supporters’ lifetime value, in alignment with WWF’s conservation goals.
Key Accountabilities (Refer to Position Description for full list of Key Accountabilities)
Collaborates to implement strategic activities that attract, retain and engage community fundraisers, with the aim to increase income from both existing and new supporters.
Builds and manages relationships to grow and retain a loyal pipeline and cohort of community and digital fundraisers, providing guidance and support to inspire achievement of fundraising targets.
Identifies opportunities for third-party fundraising and supports the development and implementation of new community fundraising initiatives, to help grow the portfolio.
Collaborates to develop and update marketing collateral, assets and supporter communications, to engage prospective and existing supporters.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience (Refer to Position Description for full list of Selection Criteria)
Demonstrated understanding of the community fundraising, digital (ideally Livestream) fundraising and fundraising campaign environment.
Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated high level of customer service and relationship management skills, preferably within a fundraising, sales, or account service environment.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse groups and deal sensitively with people and personal information.
